ADMISSIONS

The first step in the application process is to book a classroom tour. Because the Montessori classroom is a unique environment, it is critical to observe our morning work cycle to understand the curriculum and culture. Classroom tours are accommodated by appointment only. Parents can schedule a visit to learn more about CDV by calling the office or clicking this link to book online. 

After the completion of the classroom tour, you will schedule a time to meet with your child's prospective teacher. The interview is for parents only, not children. 

A questionnaire will be sent to be accomplished ahead of the assessment schedule. This will serve as the guide on the strengths of the child as well as the areas he/she will need to work on. You may schedule an assessment from Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Once the parent interview and student assessment is complete, you will be prompted by the admissions staff to submit appropriate documents and recommendations. 

Once all admission procedure requirements and documents have been completed, a decision will be made by the admissions committee and parents will be notified by phone/email.

Upon admission to the school, a downpayment must be submitted to reserve the slot. Further instructions including the supply list will be given out to be purchased before the start of the school year.
